Ethiopian runner Dereje Tulu was the first person to cross the finish line at the Dublin Marathon today.
He completed the course in 2h.12m.8s, followed by the women’s winner, Namibian-born Helalia Johannes, twenty minutes later.
19,500 athletes are taking part in the event, the biggest ever so far.
