Dublin Fire Brigade have revealed that they are currently battling a number of gorse fires this evening.
In an announcement made on their Twitter account this evening, Dublin Fire Brigade say they currently have sent a number of units to tackle fires across the county.
Dublin Fire Brigade say they are currently tackling a blaze at Puck’s Castle, whilst three units have been sent to tackle a fire in saggart.
Meanwhile reports have surfaced thar a fire has broken out on Dollymount Strand.
It is thought that the recent warm weather conditions has contributed to the spread of the fires.
