Two men sustained serious injuries and a third man has been taken into custody after a violent assault in the heart of Dublin, reports RTE.
The incident occurred at approximately 5.30pm on Seán MacDermott Street Upper, located in Dublin 1.
Both injured men, who are in their 20s, were transported to Mater Misericordiae University Hospital with significant injuries.
Authorities are expected to carry out a technical examination of the scene, reports RTE.
The suspect, also in his 20s, is currently detained at a garda station in Dublin.
Gardaà stated that “investigations are ongoing,” reports RTE.
