The Dublin Rape Crisis Centre has reported an increase in calls over the past year.
According to new figures published by the support group over 14,000 people contacted the centre last year.
The figures mark an increase of 6% on 2018 and 10% on 2017.
Meanwhile the centre also reported a rise in the number of people seeking counselling services for previous sexual assault cases in rising from 582 in 2018 to 617 last year.
