A Dublin taxi drivers attackers hijacked his taxi in west Dublin before holding the driver hostage, making him strip down to his boxer shorts and throwing him out on the side of the road in County Meath, reports Dublin Live.
The taxi driver was approached by his attackers after dropping off another fare in the Dublin area around 7am on Saturday morning. His attackers took over the vehicle after threatening the driver with the weapon.
The thugs stripped the victim down to his boxer shorts and and dump him on the side of the road just the far side of the Dublin/Meath border.
The shocked and traumatised taxi driver called the Gardai who collected him miles from where the frightening incident started.
A descriptions of the hijackers has not yet been released but gardai say that anyone with information can contact the Confidential Line on 1800-66-61-11.
