There has been a multiple birth at Dublin Zoo, after an African painted dog female gave birth to seven pups. This brings the total number of painted dog specimens at Dublin Zoo to 11.
The animals were born five weeks ago, but only now have they been allowed out of their burrow and brought to the surface by their mother.
African painted dogs are considered an endangered species, with about 6,000 left in the wild.
