Dublin’s premier indoor music venue, the o2, has been officially renamed today to ‘Dublin’s 3arena’.
The change is a result of 3 mobile buying o2 and part of their complete takeover of the company. The name will also be changed on London’s o2 arena to a 3-themed name too.
The venue was originally called ‘The Point Depot’ with most Dublin people still referring to the venue by that name.
