A total of 289 pellets of cocaine, weighing 5.4kg and concealed inside sweets, were seized by Customs Officers at Dublin Airport yesterday.
The narcotics would have had an street value of about €378,000.
A 50-year-old Romanian man flying from Abu Dhabi was arrested in connection with the seizure, and will appear in court on November 14.
