Those of a stronger disposition can hear about the terrifying ordeal experienced by an Australian couple, who became besieged in their Queensland home by a freakishly big Huntsman spider.
The arachnid, which can attain a legspan of nearly 12in, perched itself menacingly just outside the door on the couple’s home, preventing them from leaving the premises.
The couple bravely attempted to squash the beast, but it outsmarted them and legged it into nearby bushes, where it still lurks, waiting.
