Eight schoolchildren are confirmed dead, after a Chinese man went on stabbing rampage inside a primary school in Enshi City, China on Monday, the first day of the school term.
It’s understood that the man entered the school building wielding a meat cleaver, which he used to randomly hack at the children. He managed to kill eight and injured many more before being arrested.
Local authorities say that they believe the attacker had just been released from prison.
