An 80-year-old man has sadly passed away in a crash in Co. Roscommon.

It is understood that the car he was driving left the road and struck a wall. The incident happened at the Old Carrick Road, Boyle, Co. Roscommon at around 10 am today.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
