An elderly motorist has been killed following a three-vehicle crash in an Irish county.
The incident happened between junctions 4 and 5 near Castledermot, close to the Kildare-Carlow border, just after 7am today.
A man in his 80s was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Two other people, a man in his 30s and a woman in her 20s were also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
