An elderly motorist has passed away following a single-vehicle crash in Co. Longford.
The incident happened on the N4 at Lisnagrish Edgeworthstown, at around 4:40pm on Monday afternoon.
The deceased, a female in her 80s, was rushed to hospital, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
