An elderly pedestrian has died after being struck by a car in Co. Louth.
The incident happened at the junction between West St and Dominic St in Drogheda this afternoon.
The victim, a male in his 80s, was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
