The tragedy of road deaths continues this evening, after a man in his 70s sadly lost his life in a collision this afternoon.
The incident happened on the N5, near Frenchpark, at 5.15pm.
It is understood that the pedestrian was hit by a car, and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
