Elderly citizens in the Raheny area of north Dublin and elsewhere are today being asked to be extra careful, as there have been two incidents of a woman purporting to be from the HSE gaining access to properties over the last fortnight.
Gardai in the locality have been made aware of these incidents, and have issued a warning to elderly residents and care staff in the area.
The HSE have highlighted that their staff always carry full ID, and if someone calling to a property refuses to show it, the resident is advised to contact Gardai immediately.
