Gardai in Co Kerry have sadly confirmed that a woman aged in her 80s has been killed following a road traffic collision.
It is understood that the woman was killed following a two vehicle collision on the N22 at Dunrine near Lawlor’s Cross, on Tuesday.
Gardai say the driver and another passenger have been taken to University Hospital Kerry with injuries.
They also say the driver of the second vehicle was also injured and they were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Gardai say an investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
