In a vicious result in Louth, Drogheda’s Ged Nash has lost his seat.
The 41-yr-old was in a gutter fight with Fine Gael’s Peter Fitzpatrick for the last seat in the 5-seater.
It was unclear as to which way the transfers would fall, but at teatime tonight, Fitzpatrick was declared to have been granted the final seat.
Louth finishes with two FG, two SF, and one FF.
