The Labour party is going to take a pummeling today – and it looks like the public think it’s more than due.
Dublin North Central’s electorate is about to kick Aodhan O’Riordian back into the classroom. The Minister for State is on the way out – Exit polls show the strongly pro-abortion Labour member is not even in the running for the last seat.
The 40-yr-old is so far down the pecking order on people’s preferences, that as a sitting TD – he will be embarrassingly beaten by many unknown Independents.
A friend of O’Riordian tweeted this morning “It’s an absolute disaster for us today. It’s going to be a tough day ahead”.
