Local authorities in Congo have confirmed 11 new cases of Ebola, with at least one dead so far.
The new outbreak was declared on Tuesday last. The focal point is thought to be the townland of Bikoro, about 400km away from the capital.
This is the ninth outbreak of the deadly disease since the virus was discovered in humans for the first time in 1976.
