Yet more success for U.S President Donald Trump on the international stage as the leader of the Free World announces on his twitter that five of the Islamic State’s most senior commanders have been captured in a sting operation in Iraq.
Iraqi agents used the encrypted telegram app on the mobile phone of a captured senior aide to the Islamic State’s leader so-called ‘Caliph’ Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi to lure the other leaders out their hiding hole in Syria and into Iraq.
Two of those captured are Saddam Jamal and Ismail al-Eithawi and are described by the Iraqi intelligence services as the most senior Islamic State officials ever captured alive.
U.S and Iraqi intelligence also discovered secret bank accounts used by the group and also acquired information on secret codes used by Islamic State terrorists for communication.
