Emergency services have retrieved a body from the water in an Irish town.
Gardai and rescue crews attended the scene in Salthill, Co. Galway, on Wednesday evening.
It is understood that the body of a male was retrieved near Salthill Prom.
The body was removed to University Hospital College Galway, where a post-mortem examination will be carried out in due course.
