It has been confirmed that four Irish nationals were on board of Emirates Flight EK521, which crash landed in Dubai Airport earlier today.
The aircraft skidded along the runway, came to a halt, and caught fire a short time later. All passengers were successfully evacuated before the blaze started.
It is understood most passengers were from India, with 24 people from the UK, and four Irish nationals.
