In what can only be described as emotional, Donegal’s Jim McGuinness, the man responsible for so much GAA success, gave a powerful interview on last night’s The Late Late Show.

McGuinness has plenty of personal success, rising from the Glenties to Celtic, spoke about his tragic personal life experiences too.

He spoke about how he lost two brothers, Charles aged 16, and Mark – who was killed in a car crash after he dropped Jim to the airport.

McGuinness spoke candidly about the grief he and his family experienced. He said his brother Mark was the 42-yr-old’s “best friend”.

The emotional interview had the entire audience as silent as a mouse and even Tubridy was barely able to even conduct the interview with the GAA star.

Tubridy finished by thanking the footballer for being so brave to talk about his brothers.
