The Volkswagen Motor Group have confirmed that they will no longer produce their iconic Beetle car after 2019.
In a move that will see the end production of one of the world’s oldest cars, Volkswagen say the car will not be produced after 2019.
The company say the move is being made as part of a restructuring that will see more electric and family orientated cars being produced.
However the company did state that the iconic car which was first produced back in 1938 could make a return in the future.
