Microsoft Paint aficionados may have had their worst fears confirmed today, after the software giant announced that it may stop supporting the humble drawing application in the near future.
Paint has been a staple of the Windows suite since the 1980s, and has proved immensely popular with the younger users due to its simplicity and easy-to-use interface.
The application has now been added to the list of ‘deprecated’ programs, and is likely to be gone by the next Windows update, due in October.
