ESB crews have managed to restore power to most homes and businesses in the wake of Storm Hannah’s devastation.
Up to 33,000 people had been affected by power outages amidst winds of up to 125km/h on Friday evening/night. Co. Clare took the brunt of the storm, where power lines were knocked down and trees uprooted.
No personal injuries have been reported.
