EU civil war: France and Italy rift deepens as nationalist look likely to sweep May elections

The rift between France and Italy has widened in the aftermath of France recalling its ambassador to Rome in retaliation for Italy’s Deputy PM Matteo Salvini meeting a leader of the Yellow Vest movement.

Italy’s populist government has been at odds with Brussels since last March owing to its opposition to the bloc on issues such as austerity and mass migration.

Italy joined several Central EU states in opposing Brussels population replacement experiment which involves importing untold numbers of Third World migrants to gradually replace the declining indigenous European population.

It is hoped by Europhiles that this destruction of national identity will make populations more amenable to supranational governance in a post nation-state Europe.

Something the Irish government are whole heartedly on board with.

The Mediterranean country’s reversal of Brussels imposed austerity has also led to threats of sanctions from EU elites.

Now Ignazio Carrao, an MEP who serves as EU affairs advisor for Italy’s ruling Five Star Movement has mocked the EU’s council and commission stating that a populist wave will sweep Europe in this May’s elections bring nationalist voices to the EU parliament.

The governments of the EU’s leading members, France and Germany, however, have signalled no intention of altering or slowing down their globalist agenda that sees the future of the EU as a fully-fledged super-state with its own government and army.

All this comes at a time when the EU is frantically preparing for a no-deal Brexit due to its own intransigence surrounding renegotiation of the UK’s withdrawal agreement.
