The European Council has finally approved a €1bn budget to acquire ammunition for Ukraine.
The much-needed ordnance will include 155mm-caliber artillery rounds to feed Ukraine’s heavy howitzers, and may also provide missiles, if necessary.
The ammunition comes at the perfect time, as Ukraine’s final counter-offensive is expected to begin shortly.
