There may be some good weather in-store for Ireland and the UK this coming weekend as temperatures are expected to reach the high 20s and low 30s, but if you think that is too hot to handle spare a thought for those living on the continent.
In what could be the hottest ever weekend on record those living in Spain and Portugal could be set to experience staggering highs of 48C.
The expected European scorcher which will break all previous records has already prompted authorities in Spain, Portugal and France to issue public warnings requesting the public to take extra care during the exceptionally hot weather.
It is expected that the sizzling temperatures will begin on Thursday and will last through the weekend with all time highs due to be recorded.
Those living and travelling to Iberia are being advised to use proper sunscreen and to stay hydrated as temperatures are expected to reach 48C.
