Europe is reportedly looking at using $200bn worth of seized Russian assets to help rebuild Ukraine.
The assets have been frozen since the beginning of Russia’s ill-advised and doomed to fail invasion of Ukraine. These assets are now generating a huge amount of interest, which will serve to boost the war chest when rebuilding Ukraine.
Russian oligarchs and other individuals will witness how their money is handed over to Ukraine right in front of their eyes, and there isn’t a single thing they can do about it.
