The European Parliament has approved the standardization of charging ports for electronic devices across the continent.
The ruling means that, by 2024, USB-C connectors will be the standard charging port for smartphones, cameras, and other devices in Europe.
The vote passed with an overwhelming majority of 602 to 13 votes.
