The mother of the 14-year-old boy who was set upon by a pack of thugs in a random and frenzied, animalistic attack has spoken to The Liberal about what happened to her child.
Paula Christina Larkin spoke to The Liberal about the nightmarish assault that left her son bloody, bruised, unconscious and traumatised.
Mrs Larkin’s son Mark (14) had left his home in Ashbourne on Friday evening, within minutes of venturing into the Meath town a feral gang of youths set upon him.
Mark who is a well-liked and loved boy in his local community, left his home just 15 minutes before the assault to meet his friends, two local girls, at McDonalds.
The teen was set upon by the gang, which is thought to have numbered as many as 40, who beat him and robbed him of his phone and money. He was then dragged to the third story of a car park where the gang took turns mocking him and kicking and punching him in the head, neck and back.
At least one the wild thugs had a knife and it was suggested to the boy that he was going to be stabbed. Fortunately, the gang fled after Mark lost consciousness.
Mark’s distraught mother has expressed her shock, horror and disbelief that something so awful could befall her beloved son who is described as the most lovable, sweetest and good-hearted boy.
His family are left broken hearted and incredulous at the thought of such mindless violence being unleashed upon such a young man who is beloved by all.
Not exactly being known for ranking high on the IQ scale the vicious bullies uploaded footage of their attack onto Snapchat to share their exploits with their friends.
It is hoped that this footage will help identify the thugs and bring them to justice.
The gang is believed to originate in North Dublin, and it has been suggested that they are responsible for a number of attacks and robberies of people across the north of the capital and parts of Meath.
In a bizarre twist of events some keyboard warrior leftists have attack the Liberal for reporting on this crime and have sought to silence any talk of incidences like this as it contradicts the politically correct narrative.
