Extinction Rebellion activists storm Penneys shop claiming “Fast Fashion is harming the environment”

They’ve been doing their best to bring Dublin’s city centre to an absolute standstill for the past three days and today, they took their protest to Penneys and Brown Thomas.

Initially standing out Penneys on O’Connell St where there’s a bus lane, they went inside to a ‘fashion show’ where they started to shout that “Fast fashion is harming the environment”.

Some social media users have claimed that they could recognise Penneys clothing being worn on some of the protesters, whom they called “hypocrites”.

Fruther disruption is planned until Sunday with taxi drivers being severely affected trying to get around town.
