
Facebook’s woes seem to go from bad to worse, as it has now emerged that up to 45,000 users in Ireland may have had their data tapped into by third parties.
It also emerged last night that the number of users affected by the Cambridge Analytica scandal may reach 87m, instead of the 50m originally announced.
Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg is due to appear before a Congress panel in the United States in the near future, to answer questions in relation to the issue.
