Fair City viewers were left shocked last night after one of the most violent and dramatic episodes ever to be aired in the show’s 27 year run.
The RTE drama is said to be receiving huge viewership this week as the Katy O’Brien storyline seems to finally be coming to a close.
Last night saw Ciaran basically forced to leave Farrah while keeping Emmett and Katy hostage. The rest of the characters seem to now finally be aware that Ciaran is the one behind Katy’s disappearance.
Meanwhile fans of the show took to social media to convey their shock at what is being described as a major cliffhanger in the storyline. Fans are delighted with the acting but grateful that the storyline is coming to a close after almost running for a full 13 months.
The show was left on a cliffhanger with a knife held to Emmett by Ciaran which is said to see the climax on this Sunday night’s episode.
