Oisin Weldon, originally from County Meath but living in Collon County Louth, completed all 26.2 miles of the Dublin marathon while soloing an O’Neill’s football.
The experienced athlete had recently completed the Fingal 10km in 52 minutes and 34 seconds but this was a different kind of challenge altogether.
Weldon was raising funds for his local GAA club in Collon, Mattock Rangers. He raised some €2,000+ by the time the race had begun.
He posted on social media that he completed the marathon in a time of 4:08:17.
Congrats to all who took part today!
