The image of a little Honduran girl crying at a U.S border control checkpoint has become the face of the campaign of demonization of President Trump by the establishment media and Hollywood but its fake news according to the little girl’s father.
The child and her mother are together and safe, and we’re not separated by U.S immigration services Denis Javier Varela Hernandez told the UK Daily Mail in an exclusive interview.
Despite this the picture of the little girl with a photoshopped picture of Donald Trump is featured on the front of Time Magazine.
This is not the first time out of context images and fake news have been shamelessly used in the recent U.S-Mexican border crisis.
The New York Times was forced to apologise for using images of illegal immigrant detention centres taken during the Obama administration in articles disparaging President Trump and countless celebrities such as Kevin Hart and Jennifer Lopez have shared images from movies and even from Iraq to their millions of followers believing they photographs taken at the border.
