The family of convicted killer Molly Martens have set up a Facebook page to channel their claims that she did not get a ‘fair trial.’
Both Ms. Martens and her father Tom were convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to over 25 years in prison each for their roles in the killing of Limerick man Jason Corbett, who was bludgeoned to death at his home in North Carolina in 2015.
The Martens’ side continues to maintain that Molly and Tom ‘acted in self defence’.
An appeal to the original ruling has been lodged, and the outcome of such appeal is due in the next few months.
