Fans react badly to ‘Green Day’ who played a concert claiming they knew nothing about an acrobat falling to his death 30 minutes beforehand

Terrible news came out of Spain last night when the Spanish news agency El Mundo announced an acrobat fell 100ft to his death at the music festival Mad Cool.

The acrobat was acting inside a small cage suspended around 100 feet in the air near the stage. His harness suddenly snapped or became disconnected and with scenes reminiscent of wrestler Owen Hart’s death, the man fell at speed to the edge of the stage hitting it chest-on.

Initially the crowd just thought that it was part of an act but for some 10 minutes emergency crew worked on the acrobat and the music fans soon realised this wasn’t part of the show.

The man was tragically pronounced dead at the scene but whether it was promoters, organisers or Green Day themselves, the American rcok group took to the stage just 30 minutes after the man died.

Many fans stormed out taking to social media saying that they’ll “never go to a Green Day gig again” and that they’ve lost total respect for the band who “must have known what happened half an hour beforehand”.

Any fan said “How could they not know? The whole place was talking and posting about it on Facebook and Twitter?”.
