Farcical: Most Ukrainians are now arriving from safe areas of the country or other countries to take advantage of Irish generosity as numbers increase to 800 per week

Almost 100,000 Ukrainians have now arrived in Ireland since Russia launched its special military operation in the Donbass region with a recent uptick seeing approximately 100 new Ukrainians arriving per day in Ireland.

Sources in government departments dealing with the increase have reported to the Liberal that the vast majority of Ukrainians arriving are coming from safe areas of Ukraine, outside the conflict zone, and from other countries as word spreads about the lavish social welfare benefits in Ireland.

Ukrainian telegram groups are sharing information on how to work the social welfare system in Ireland to maximise profits as well as tips on how to increase the likelihood they will receive the state-of-the-art modular housing the Irish taxpayer is providing for alleged refugees.

The government have publicly acknowledged some of the above but sources have revealed the situation is far worse in reality than what is admitted to by public officials who are keen to keep these problems quiet as they relaunch their “Offer a Home” scheme.

The “Offer a Home” scheme is an appeal to owners of vacant properties to house Ukrainian refugees in them as Ukrainians in hotel accommodation continue to make a nuisance of themselves by inundating local authorities and government departments with complaints and refusing to contribute anything towards their keep.

This is despite the fact they receive full social welfare benefits, are permitted to work, and also enjoy free accommodation, meals, public transport, healthcare, education and even entertainment.
