A farmer has tragically died after part of a roof fell on him he was demolishing.
The incident happened at a farm near the village of Ballindine in Co. Mayo, earlier today.
It is understood that the man was working on the demolition of a building when a portion of the roof collapsed on top of him.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
