Farmers begin leaving Dublin, after 24 hours of protests

Farmers have begun leaving the Dublin city centre area, after staging a 24h long protest march around the Dáil.

The protest caused massive disruption in central areas of the capital, as no fewer than 100 tractors blocked entire streets.

Farmers are demonstrating against what they perceive to be the ‘death of rural Ireland’, which is being largely enabled by Government policies, in their view.
