Fears grow Irish Government could consider Isreali style “green cards” to stop non-vaccinated Irish citizens from accessing gyms, restaurants, hotels, cinemas, concerts and other services

Isreal has been rolling out a “green card” system to stop non-vaccinated Isreali citizens accessing services and Ireland may be following the Isreali plan.

Tánaiste Leo Varadkar (FG) has confirmed that the IT systems available to the Irish government has the ability to produce printed and digital vaccine certificates and he is now considering Isreal’s model reports Breakingnews.ie

Mr Varadar said the Government will examine the system for Ireland. “It’s something that we could consider, but I think we can only consider it when we’re confident that it’s worked in Israel,” according to Newstalk FM.
