Anti-French sentiment across the Muslim world continues to grow with rallies in various Islamic countries seeing burning of the French flag and effigies of President Emmanuel Macron.
Muslims in France and around the world are furious at the freedom of speech in the West in which things they find offensive, including depictions of Islam’s founder Mohammed, are permitted.
Aside from a boycott of French goods being called for by several Muslim leaders including the outspoken Islamist President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, France has had to deal with numerous atrocities committed by Muslim terrorists. One which shocked the nation and saw three people butchered while attending mass in a catholic church in Nice.
As the French government steps up their crackdown on radical Islam in the country the threat of terrorist attacks remains at its highest and on Monday night there are now reports of a co-ordinated terrorist attack in the capital of neighbouring Austria, Vienna.
