According to the Government, refugees are only supposed to stay in tents for no longer than a week before being moved on to ‘permanent’ accommodation.
The definition of ‘permanent’ is unclear, as is where exactly will refugees be shipped to, since there isn’t room anywhere.
The concern is growing that these tent cities will grow into slums over the long term.
