A female pedestrian has died following a collision with a van in a hit-and-run incident in an Irish county.
The collision happened on the N15 at Townparks in Lifford, Co. Donegal, in the early hours of this morning.
The van did not remain at the scene.
The victim, a 34-year-old woman, was rushed to University Hospital Letterkenny, where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
