Fianna Fail gain support and close the gap to Fine Gael in latest polls




Fianna Fáil are the biggest movers in the latest political poll.

The party who have lost ground in recent months have moved ever so slightly closer to Fine Gael in the latest Sunday Business Post Red C poll.

According to the poll which was carried out between Thursday October 11th and Wednesday October 17th, Mícheál Martin’s party moved up 3 points to 25% in support.

The result means that Fianna Fáil are 8 points behind Fine Gael who remain unchanged in 33%.

Elsewhere Sinn Féin moved up 1 point to 15%, whilst Labour dropped down 1 point to 5%.

Meanwhile the Independents are down 1 point to 12%, whilst the Independent Alliance remains unchanged on 4%.

The poll also found that The Green Party moved up 2 points to 4%, whilst the Social Democrats dropped down 2 points to 2%.

Solidarity-People Before Profit also lost 2 points dropping to 0%, whilst Renua are also remain on 0%.
