Fianna Fail’s Micheal Martin goes against his party wishes and will vote for abortion

The leader of Fianna Fail Micheal Martin has come out to say that he will vote for abortion in the upcoming abortion referendum.

Martin, who was right up there at the helm when the economic crash happened, is said to have let the majority of party “badly down” by showing his support for abortion.

One Fianna Fail campaigner told The Liberal:
“As long as Martin continues to be the leader of the party after saying that, I’m finished with them. We voted at our Ard Dheis to keep the 8th Amendment and be a pro life party, now Martin has thrown that back in our face.”

A Fine Gael campaigner told The Liberal:
“What more can you expect from Martin? He showed utter contempt for Ireland when the crash happened, now he wants to show even more contempt for a future generation of unborn Irish people. He’s worse than Sinn Fein as far as I’m concerned.”
