The remains of 21-year-old Olivia Burke will be repatriated today. The flight is scheduled to land in Dublin at 11am this morning.
Last Saturday, a joint funeral took place for Olivia and her cousin Ashley, 22 at the time of her death, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Cotati, California.
Olivia’s remains then were driven over the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, escorted by motorcycle police units.
The families of both Olivia and Ashley have announced their intention to take legal action against the company that developed and built the apartment complex where six students plunged to their deaths after a balcony collapsed under them.
